Gov. Fintiri Sends Message To Wike Following Swearing-In As FCT Minister

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has extended heartfelt congratulations to the former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, on his appointment as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

This comes as part of the swearing-in ceremony for 45 confirmed ministers-designate, presided over by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday, at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.

HeraldNG reports that Governor Fintiri commended the appointment of Wike, describing it as both well-deserved and fitting.

He emphasized that Wike has a proven track record of effective governance and his commitment to driving economic growth during his tenure as Governor of Rivers State are qualities that will undoubtedly benefit the Federal Capital Territory.

Taking to X, Governor Fintiri expressed his congratulations and admiration for Wike, saying, “Congratulations on your Senate screening and appointment as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

“Your Excellency, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, you have set a precedent and demonstrated exemplary leadership traits by delivering service and good governance according to the people’s needs during your tenure as Governor of Rivers State, which I believe earned you this position.”

Fintiri further expressed his trust in Wike’s ability to continue fostering growth and development in the FCT, mirroring his successful track record in Rivers State.

He expressed his confidence that Wike’s influence will inspire a continued commitment to hard work, dedication to the nation and active engagement in meaningful political causes.
