1 Min Read

The death of a cadet identified as Abel Isah has reportedly created tension in the Sokoto Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Sahara Reporters reported that Isah was killed by two superior officers over his refusal to sign off on incomplete exhibits handed over to him.

The superior officers were said to have been angered by the cadet’s effrontery, causing them to descend heavily on him.

The report stated that the Plateau indigene’s sin was his refusal to participate in illegality.

He is due to be buried on Saturday, the report stated.

The EFCC Spokesman, Wilson Uwajaren, has promised to investigate the matter.
