The Senator representing Kogi state, Dino Melaye has spoken about his current ordeal and has said that his spirit cannot be shaken.
The Senator was arrested on charges bordering on illegal firearm possession and criminal conspiracy.
The Senator was granted bail based on his health issues after appearing in court on a stretcher. The presiding judge gave a condition that the lawmaker must provide a surety for the amount of N10 million.
The Senator took to his Instagram to state that his struggle with the police is not a new thing and that whatever happens he had no fear. He went scriptural stating that he that is in him is greater than he that is in the world.
He posted: Police illegal arrest and harassment did not start now. This was four years ago. Where Court awarded 10 million naira damage to me that Police is yet to pay. Fear not him that can destroy or damage the body,fear only Him that can destroy both the body and the Spirit. My Spirit and resolve is unshakable.
