Lai Mohammed, Nigeria’s Minister of Information, has just explained that criminally minded individuals are the only ones who would oppose Operation Python Dance. The operation which was launched by the Nigerian Army was set up in a bid to manage and control criminal activities. As it has been called on in the past, the Nigerian government will also make use of the operation during the February general elections.
While speaking with newsmen at a news conference in Abuja, the minister said, “If you’re not a criminal no need to worry about the military operations because if there is insecurity the same people complaining would also blame the government of not doing enough to protect lives and property.”
