In an open and candid interview with Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, Skales discussed the situation in-depth, shedding light on the events that led to the conflict and his subsequent efforts to resolve it.
Taking full responsibility for his actions, Skales opened up about his own role in the altercation, acknowledging that he was under the influence of alcohol at the time. He revealed that his emotions got the best of him and he ended up saying things he now regrets. He bravely admitted to having offended Kizz Daniel and expressed his genuine remorse for the incident.
Skales recounted that the situation unfolded at Timaya’s house and that his intoxication contributed to his lapse in judgment. Despite his inability to recall the specifics of what transpired, Skales acknowledged that he was genuinely angered that night.
The aftermath of the altercation was marked by Skales’ realization of the gravity of the situation. He detailed how he learned that Kizz Daniel was upset with him through a conversation with another colleague, Skibii. This revelation prompted Skales to take proactive steps to mend the situation. He took the initiative to reach out to Kizz Daniel and apologize for his behavior, despite not remembering the exact words he had used.
Skales shared his apology with honesty, saying, “Dawg, I can’t really remember anything I said to you. But I’m really sorry.“
