Relationship scandals and divorce wind found it’s way to Nollywood actress Ini Edo and American-based Nigerian businessman Philip Ehiagwina, dissolving their Marriage of five years.
It’s even worse as the break up was heavily linked to an alleged act of infidelity from the actress.
Her husband accused her of having extra marital affairs, noting, he had been hearing rumours of Ini’s cheating lifestyle since 2011.
According to sources close to the couple, he set out to catch her red handed by monitoring her movements closely earlier this year.
On discovering that Ini Edo allegedly lived with her long time boyfriend at her apartment in Lekki, he reached out to his In-laws and called the marriage quits.
To show the extent of his disappointment he asked that the bride price he paid to marry the actress be returned to him.
32-year-old Ini seemed fine with her husbands decisions, she reportedly paid every dime of the ‘bride price’ he requested for.
Soon thereafter, she denounced her self from any knot binding them together.
She’s deleted several pictures of her husband from her social media accounts and renamed her Instagram profile bio from “Wife and actress” to “actress” only.
