On Oct. 2,2016, actress, Lindsay Lohan shared an image of her stitched up finger and swollen hand on Snapchat, revealing a heavily bandaged digit as she described the gruesome injury.
“I almost lost my finger from the anchor. Well, I lost half my finger, thank goodness we found the piece of my finger…” she wrote.
“I just had surgery to fix it. It hurts so bad,” Lindsay, 30, added.
Lindsay Lohan has had surgery after losing part of finger in gruesome boat injury. She also tweeted about it (but deleted the Instagram photo she’d linked in her post).
TMZ reported that “Lindsay was enjoying Sunday in the ocean off Turkey when she tried pulling up the boat anchor and became entangled in it,” the site wrote. “The anchor pulled her down into the water and she struggled to get back in the boat as she tried untangling herself. The anchor sliced off the tip of her finger.”
“Her friends went on the hunt and found the detached digit on the deck of the boat,” TMZ explained.
“They rushed LiLo to an ER, where a plastic surgeon reattached it.”
