A Lyft driver has got himself on the wrong side of the law for driving with a suspended license.
A cellphone recording of the incident showed the moment the driver, who has not been identified, was pulled out of his car by a cop.
In an apparently routine traffic stop, a cop car pulled the driver over only to discover he was driving with a suspended license.
He was taken into custody by the cop, although details of the incident remain sketchy.

The video documenting the incident has been viewed over 100,000 times since it was shared on Twitter last week.
The passenger, who recorded the incident on his cellphone from his back seat, said, “First of (all), my Lyft driver is going to jail.”
“How you Lyft driving with your license suspended,” the passenger asked rhetorically.
