Following the death of Minneapolis Black man, George Floyd by an officer of the Minnesota police who kneeled on his neck for over 5 minutes, residents in their hundreds took to the streets to protest the bizarre occurrence.
The riot broke out in Minneapolis after the video of the fatal arrest circulated across major social media platforms.
Protesters were seen causing pandemonium, throwing objects and vandalizing vehicles of the Minneapolis State Police Department.

However, officers of the police department are working tirelessly to restore law and order. No comments have been made from the authorities regarding the extent of damage incurred.
