A deranged Brooklyn mom, Saturday morning, tossed her newborn baby girl and 2-year-old boy out of a second-floor apartment window, and then jumped out herself, police and sources told The Post.
The shocking incident happened at around 11:20 a.m. at 178 Rockaway Parkway near Kings Highway in Brownsville, the NYPD said.

The woman threw the four-week-old and 2-year-old out the second-floor rear window and then jumped out the window, police said.
The newborn was taken to Maimonides Hospital in critical condition, police said. The woman and the 2-year-old were taken to Brookdale Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the NYPD spokeswoman said.
The three were naked when they went out the window, according to stunned neighbor, Carl Chin, 41, who lives in a rowhouse on E. 96th Street and heard the thud of the baby hitting the ground from the second- floor window of the six-story apartment building and into the courtyard.
Chin looked out his window and saw the kids on the ground and the woman on the fire escape, “getting ready to jump..so I call 911…Then when she lands on the floor, she didn’t go unconscious, she was still aware, she grabbed hold of the two kids and proceeded to hurt them more.”
The quick-thinking Chin said the mom was banging the newborn’s head on the concrete, so he raced out of his house, “jumped over the fence, and struggled with her to take the newborn from her. “She had the baby in her grip, and I had to take the baby out of her grip, and hold her until the police and paramedics came.”
The Good Samaritan, who wrapped the newborn in sheets supplied by his neighbors, said he was “in shock. I never witnessed anything like this before. I have kids myself, so to see a mom do something like this was traumatizing, I guess. It’s going to be stuck in my head for a long time.”
“As she was trying to hurt her children and I was getting them out of her grip, she kind of thanked me and told me to take care of them. Then she proceeded to talk about how she was tired of being by herself,” he said.
