The Niger Delta Avengers militant group in line with the promise to cripple Nigeria’s oil production from both local and international companies have attacked yet another oil installation in the Niger Delta Region.

Recall that the Ghanaian president, John Mahama had blamed the current power outage in major parts of the country including Accra, the capital on militant action in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria which has caused delay in supply of petroleum products.

The militant group took to its website to announce the latest attack.

The announcement reads: At about 7:30pm the Niger Delta Avengers blow up ExxonMobile Qua Iboe 48″ crude oil export pipeline. When will these International Oil companies (IOC) learn to listen. We (Niger Delta Avengers) said no export.
