Nigeria Army Recaptures “Economic and Strategic” Nigeria, Cameroon Border Town

The Nigeria Army has recaptured the north eastern town of Gomboru Ngala, which borders Cameroon, from Boko Haram militants.

In a statement on its official Twitter account on Tuesday, the Army said it gained back the captured “economic and strategic town” in an operation tagged  #OperationLafiyaDole.

“The triumphant troops are now busy with clearing and mopping up  patrols. Details later”, it stated.
