The never-ending wavy war between fans of two of Nigeria’s greatest artists, Davido and Wizkid, seems to be taking a new turn. The fans of both artists, popularly known as 30BG and Wizkid FC respectively, are notorious for comparing every detail of their favorite artist’s music discography.
The latest development in this rivalry is the comparison between Davido’s recently released album, Timeless, which dropped in March, and Wizkid’s More Love, Less Ego, which was released in November last year.
According to reports, fans of Davido were the first to ignite the fire of this conversation. They took to Twitter to comment on how Davido’s album has garnered massive numbers in just a month compared to Wizkid’s album, which has been out for over five months.
Some Davido fans even went as far as making jest of More Love Less Ego, stating that the album is not as great as social media portrays it to be. This has caused a stir among the Wizkid FC, who are defending their favorite artist’s album and calling out Davido’s fans for being biased.

However, some have argued that the comparison is unnecessary, as both albums have their unique styles and appeal to different audiences. They believe that it is unfair to compare the two albums as they were released in different times and under different circumstances.
Nevertheless, the debate rages on, with some staunch Davido fans questioning why and how More Love, Less Ego “flopped this hard.” This has sparked even more controversy among fans of both artists, with each side trying to prove their favorite album’s superiority.
