The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh, on Tuesday slumped and was rushed to the National Hospital, Abuja.
News Agency Premium Times reports that the incident occurred during the inauguration of the Yobe and Borno states caretaker committees at the Wadata Plaza party secretariat of the party located in the Wuse Zone 5 District of Abuja
The Publicity Secretary fell off a swivel chair as he came into the National Working Committee meeting hall and was said to be unable to move .
Metuh remained on the floor for about three minutes before he was assisted by two policemen out of the hall. He was said to have complained about a waist pain earlier in day.
Premium times reports that Mr. Metuh was being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Hospital.
