Osun Deputy Chief of Staff, Binuyo Charged With Forgery, $120,000 Fraud

Abdullahi Binuyo, the deputy Chief Staff to the Government of Osun State, has been charged to court by the Inspector General of Police on four counts of Conspiracy, fraud, cheating and forgery totaling $120,000.

According to the prosecution, Binuyo conspired with others at large to dupe one Babatunde Ajala alongside his company, BMA Nigeria limited in 2017.

It was also alleged that he forged and impersonated the signature of a certain Mr. Hakeem Sani to sign an agreement with BMA limited and Mr. Ajala on behalf of Ahad International FZC Company.

Binuyo was also alleged to have fraudulently obtained the sum of $120,000 from BMA and Mr. Ajala.

The case file marked CR/975/2020/ is being prosecuted by the force Criminal Investigation Department at the force headquarters, Abuja.
