PDP loses 2nd chairman in 3 days

The Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Udo Ekpenyong has died.

It was gathered that Ekpenyong died on Tuesday, January 19 after a protracted illness.

He was elected chairman of the state chapter less than a year ago.

The Akwa Ibom PDP chairman died two days after the death of former Zonal Chairman, North East of the party, Amb. Emmanuel Quiltomi Njiwah, was reported on Sunday.

Until his demise, Njiwah was the paramount ruler of Mbamnga Chiefdom in Taraba State.

Ekpenyong was a former commissioner of local government and chieftaincy affairs in the State hailed from Ukanafun Local Government Area of the state.
