“Words may be too hard to say right now” – Actor Femi Adebayo mourns late Peteru

Popular actor, Femi Adebayo says the anguish he feels at the death of comic act, Peteru, cannot be put into words.

Peteru, whose real name was Oluwatobi Owomoyela, reportedly died on Wednesday after a prolonged battle with cancer.

Before his demise, the Ibadan, Oyo State-based On-Air-Personality and MC was well known for his unique delivery in mimicking people.

Since news of his death, celebrities have been taking to social media to mourn him.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Adebayo shared a photo of the deceased with the caption, “Hmm! 😭

“Words may be too hard to say right now but we submit to the will of God.

“Rest on PETERU!

“May God give the bereaved fortitude to bear the loss 🙏

“#rip #peteruliveson🕊”

Another actor, Muyiwa Ademola also mourned the late comic act.

Sharing a video of the late OAP, Ademola wrote,

“This is a very hard pill to swallow! How could this jolly good fellow just depart this world in this manner? Hmmm… it is well.

“Please be kind to one another as we don’t even know what we are individually passing through! I learnt Peteru died of cancer. You were battling such burden yet I never saw you without a smile! It is well. It is well. It is well. Journey well great guy. I am out of words tonight.”
