Photos: 2019 Benz E-Class Is Turning Heads

The 2019 Benz E-Class was earlier in the week unveiled at the ongoing North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Michigan.

The new E-Class, Mercedes’s line of cars that standing in-between the entry-level C-Class and flagship S-Class, comes equipped with new features to enhance user experience.

The car has been fitted with the electrified EQ boost powertrain with an added 21 horsepower output, The Verge reports.

It is also getting a 48-volt battery to help it execute some awesome functions that allow the cars to shut down its engine when stopped or coasting down to save fuel and recapture wasted energy via regenerative braking.

Other eye-catching features include: Attention Assist, which helps drivers stay awake, and Pre-Safe, to identify pedestrians passing in front of the vehicle. These are components of the Intelligent Drive advanced driver assist tech from the S-Class.
