President Bola Tinubu will address Nigerians today.
The presidential broadcast holds at 7pm Nigerian time.
The presidency disclosed this in a terse statement on Monday morning.
The presidential broadcast comes barely 48 hours before a nationwide strike called by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) to protest the fuel subsidy removal and its attendant hike in pump price of petrol.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make a broadcast to the nation on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 7 pm.
“Television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast,” the presidential statement read.
