Members of the Federal House of representatives have begun the process of passing a bill that confers immunity on the Leaders of the Senate and Federal house of representatives.

The bill which was sponsored by Segun Odebunmi representing Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency sought to shield the presiding officers of the National Assembly, Federal House of representatives and states house of assembly from prosecution while they are still serving their terms.
