The 51-year-old bursar of the Government Secondary School, Dangara, Abaji, in the Federal Capital Territory, Gabriel Ekundayo, has been arrested for defiling and impregnating a 15-year-old pupil.
The suspect, who hails from Ilorin, Kwara State, was said to have lured the victim to his house and drugged her before defiling her.
He was arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and handed over to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

Herald Nigeria gathered that the bursar was a guardian to the victim, who is a Senior Secondary School 3 pupil. She reportedly spent her last holiday with her assailant and his family.
The victim was said to have taken ill in the suspect’s house after the incident.
But in order to hide his crime, the suspect gave the girl some drugs and she was said to have fainted soon after and was rushed to a medical facility.
