Shehu Sani reveals seven categories of conflicts in Northern Nigeria

Former Senator for Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has named the seven categories of conflicts confronting majority of the 19 states in Northern Nigeria.

Sani made this known in an X post on Friday.

According to him, banditry is rampant in Zamfara, Katsina, Sokoto, Kebbi and Niger states.

He said that terrorism is primarily in Yobe and Borno states.

The activist-cum-politician explained that banditry and terrorism are found in Kaduna and Niger states.

He stressed that settler/indigene crisis is experienced in Plateau, Nasarawa, Taraba and Benue states.

Similarly, he said that settler/indigene crisis and terrorism take place in Plateau, Kaduna and Nasarawa states.

Sani explained that farmers/herdsmen clashes take place in Benue, Plateau, Kaduna, Taraba and Nasarawa states, while ethno-religious violence have found a home in Kaduna, Plateau, Nasarawa, Taraba and Adamawa States.
