Simi, the talented Nigerian singer, recently shared the heartwarming story of how she met her soulmate, Adekunle Gold, during an interview on Beat FM. The mother of one revealed the fascinating journey that led them to find each other and build a strong bond.

Fate eventually brought them together at one of Simi’s musical performances, where Adekunle Gold attended as an admirer. After the event, he mustered the courage to approach her and express his deep admiration as a fan. Simi recounted how persistent Adekunle Gold was in his pursuit, exploring every possible means to capture her attention. His relentless efforts paid off as she was drawn to his kindness, and they eventually became friends.
According to Simi, Adekunle Gold asked her to be his girlfriend that same year, and their love story blossomed from there. They shared five beautiful years of dating before sealing their commitment in marriage in 2019.
