Super Eagles prepare for Congo and South Africa

News reaching us from UJ Esuene stadium in Calabar reports that Nigeria AFCON qualifiers squad are undergoing intense training as they prepare towards  fixture against Congo on September 6th.

Head Coach Stephen Keshi who recently renewed his contract with the Eagles is seen with Daniel Amokachi drilling the players in a bid to pick their starting line-up.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face the Red Devils of Congo on Saturday in Calabar and fly to Cape Town afterwards to take on South Africa’s Bafana Bafana on the 10th of September.

Chelsea’s star, Mikel Obi came into Calabar with 2 pairs of hand gloves as a precaution for the dreadful Ebola virus.

Austin Ejide will stand in as the Captain of the team while David Obiazor of El-Kanemi will be replacing Enyeama. He was given a chance to prove himself worthy of retaining the spot held by the heroic goalkepper.

 “Enyeama is my first-choice goalkeeper. He is a very reliable and fantastic player, who I adore alot because of his loyalty to the national cause. I will miss him,” said Keshi.
