2 Min Read

In the wake of the shocking tragedy involving the alleged murder of a University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) student, Justina, Damian Okoligwe, the prime suspect, has come forward to present his side of the story. Contrary to the prevailing belief that he is responsible for the tragic death, Damian staunchly maintains his innocence.

Justina

The suspect, who has been under media scrutiny and the watchful eye of the Nigerian police, is eager to set the record straight. According to Damian, he did not play a role in the untimely demise of Justina. He claims that he made the harrowing discovery of her lifeless body when he woke up.

Describing the nature of their relationship as complex, Damian clarifies that they were not officially a couple, given their on-and-off status. On the fateful night, Justina had come over to his place, and when Damian awoke, he was confronted with the sight of her lifeless body.

Recalling the events leading up to the incident, the suspect explained that they had shared snacks, after which he had fallen asleep in the living room while Justina had retired to the room. Damian goes on to express that it was out of fear that he hesitated to alert anyone to the grim discovery, as he believed no one would believe him.

I did not kill her; I only found her dead in my apartment in the morning. I don’t know who dismembered her body,” Damian adamantly stated.

The suspect maintains that while he did discover her lifeless, her body remained intact. However, he is baffled as to how her body ended up dismembered.

In light of these developments, Damian Okoligwe vehemently denies any involvement in the tragic death of the 300-level Biochemistry student at the University of Port Harcourt. As the investigation continues, more details are expected to emerge, shedding further light on this heart-wrenching case.
