UNIPORT undergraduate found dead in boyfriend’s apartment, suspect apprehended

An alleged ritualist, known as Collins has been apprehended after the alleged murder of his female partner, Justina Otuene Nkang, a 300-level undergraduate at the University of Port Harcourt. The tragic incident unfolded along NTA Road, Mgbuoba, in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Justina, who was pursuing a degree in Biological Chemistry, was reportedly missing for four days before her lifeless and mutilated remains were discovered in her boyfriend’s apartment. She had been completing her Industrial Training attachment at a private hospital in Port Harcourt and was last seen there.

Tragically, it is believed that her boyfriend may have killed her for ritual purposes, as certain sensitive parts of her body were found to be mutilated, including her eyes and breasts. The suspect had allegedly kept her body in his apartment for three days before attempting to dispose of it in a refuse dump.

The vigilante group in the area intercepted the suspect as he was trying to dispose of the body, leading to his arrest.

This horrifying incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and the suspect is currently in police custody. The Commissioner of Police, Emeka Nwaonyi, is expected to address the press on this matter, providing further details and insight into the case.
