Minister for Transport, Chibuike Amaechi has taken a swipe at political enemy and banter partner, Nyesom Wike, whom he called a clown.

The minister was seated for a press briefing and he addressed allegations that he sponsored thugs to disrupt the peace in the state and also that his thugs destroyed the APC secretariat in Rivers state, putting a halt to the state APC congress last Saturday.

The former governor vehemently denied this.

In the video, Amaechi was asked about his involvement in hijacking election materials to which he also said he was being lied against.

He claimed that there were no materials for him to steal in the first place and that these were all lies to discredit him. He also claimed that he was a pacifist and one to avoid physical confrontation at all cost, hence he gets his face beaten.

When asked a question about the current governor, he chuckled and talked about how he used to be a student of theatre, he then added that in literature there were characters called clowns whose sole job was to entertain the reader and elicit laughter, a role he said Wike was playing perfectly.

He also condemned the governor over rumours that he had instructed hotels in the state to withhold rooms from APC members.
