Hilda Effiong Bassey, a skilled cook, recently is set to completing a four-day cooking marathon that has put her close to setting a new world record. However, the Guinness World Records is yet to verify her record-breaking feat.
In response to this perceived delay, Kaffy, a renowned dancer and a one-time record-breaker herself, has taken to social media to educate Nigerians on the reason for the delay.
According to Kaffy, the delay in verifying Hilda’s record may be due to technical issues, as she herself had to wait for a long two weeks before her record could be verified. She explained that this delay is part of a standard procedure and that many people who have broken records have faced similar issues.
Despite the delay, Kaffy expressed confidence that Hilda’s record-breaking feat would eventually be verified. She added that it would not be Hilda’s portion to have her record unverified.
