A 22 year old woman, Tolani Aderoju is dead after an abortion gone wrong. The doctor who performed the botched abortion, Edeye Monday has been arraigned on murder charges.
A Yaba Magistrate’s Court in Lagos on Monday held that the 35-year-old Medical Doctor, Edeye Monday, had a case to answer over the death of the victim.
The Police Prosecutor, Godwin Anyanwun, was adjudged to have established a prima facie case against the accused by the Magistrate, Adekorede Ajibade.
She said: “a murder case has been established against the accused.”
“Consequently, his case will be transferred to a court of superior record”.
