Nollywood actor Yul Edochie took to his Instagram story today to address his marital struggles and accuse his first wife, May Edochie, of manipulative behavior and secrecy. The actor, who recently went public with disputes in his marriage, expressed frustration over what he perceives as efforts to tarnish his image.
Yul Edochie’s post explicitly stated, “2023 stole your flesh & blood, but you still had enough time to do breast enlargement surgery and tummy tuck without your husband’s consent. Obviously endorsed by your married boyfriend. Enough of the manipulation.” The actor seemed to be calling out May Edochie for making life-altering decisions without his knowledge and insinuated involvement with a married individual.
Addressing the alleged manipulation further, Yul Edochie urged his ex-wife to stop influencing people on social media against him while secretly enjoying her life. He emphasized that the public does not know the real her and vowed not to tolerate such behavior in 2024. The actor, who had been silent on the matter for an extended period, declared, “I’ve been silent for too long. I’ve been doing my best to protect your image while you’re doing all you can to destroy mine. ENOUGH.”
It’s noteworthy that Yul Edochie, who is currently with his new wife, Judy Austin, has been open about his marital challenges, and this recent post adds another layer to the unfolding drama. The actor and May Edochie, his first wife, had also faced the tragic loss of their first child last year.
