An upcoming comedian Adiri Daniel of House of Insanity has been arrested by police officers in Lagos for illegally performing a skit in costume police uniform.
A close-up of the clip shared on social media by associates of the comic act, shows the dialogue between Adiri and the alleged officers in plain clothes. The comedian’s friend (who apparently captured the moment on tape) is overheard pleading on behalf of the said comedian.
The clip has stirred reactions from folks, and kickstarted a conversation over the alleged bribe. And this brings to mind the statement by the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni, who shut down claims that officers under him accept bribe.
However, it is unclear, the nature of the charges against Adiri Daniel, and if truly the alleged officers in the clip requested for the stated sum.
