Former President Goodluck Jonathan has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to implement the 2015 National Confab Report which could be the solution to many issues happening in the Nation.

He said this while addressing a delegation led by the Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson at his Yenagoa residence at who came to inform him on the efforts being made by Ijaw leaders on the issue of restructuring.

According to him, majority of the issues currently causing concern were thoroughly discussed at the 2014 National Conference. He believed that if the Confab report was implemented it could reduce the tension in the Country.

He commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) for setting up a committee to consider the same issues deliberated at the 2014 Conference. He was however quick to add that he was not able to implement the 2015 report due to the time the report was tendered and the 2015 election did not give enough time for the report to be implemented.

The former President concluded his address by saying a sincere implementation of the recommendations made on the issues highlighted in the report would advance the Country.
