Air Force Inaugurates Hospital for IDPs in Bornu

The Nigerian Air Force Hospital established in Dalori, Bornu state to provide healthcare services for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) has commenced operations.

The Hospital was established as part of the humanitarian efforts of NAF to provide adequate medical care for IDPs.

The 50-bed hospital is a level-2 hospital comprising of accident and emergency suite, out-patient consulting suite, in-patient facilities for at least 36 patients, including male, female and paediatric sections.

It also has an operating theatre, a radio-diagnostic suite, a dental unit, an eye unit, medical laboratory and in/out patient pharmaceutical sections.

Air Force spokesman, Dele Alonge explained that the NAF Hospital was established to fulfil the promise made by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar during his first visit to the Dalori IDPs Camp in August 2015.
