Socialite Madame Mystique has offered a cryptic explanation for her recent split from popular Nigerian singer, Asake.
The revelation came during an Instagram exchange with a fan who questioned Mystique’s decision to end the relationship. When asked why she “broke our national sweetheart’s heart,” Mystique responded simply, “Cuz he wanted to go let the devil use him.“
This explanation left fans confused, with some even criticizing Mystique for not protecting Asake from such influences. However, Mystique clarified her stance in a subsequent comment, assuring fans that Asake remains “a man of God” and suggesting “the devil” was more of a metaphorical trickster.
Asake and Madame Mystique’s relationship became public last year when photos and videos showcasing their affection went viral. News of their split emerged in March 2024, leaving fans disappointed.
