Avengers Deny one month Ceasefire Agreement with FG

The Niger Delta Avengers have denied earlier reports that they’d made a truce with the Federal government to observe a month long ceasefire.

The militant group did this on their twitter account.

It had earlier been reported on Reuters that the negotiation team of the Federal government had reached an agreement with the militants over a ceasefire.

However this has now been debunked by the group who tweeted, “The NDA High Command never remember having any agreement on ceasefire with the Nigeria Government.”
