Controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has entered a guilty plea to a four-count charge of abuse of the naira and money laundering leveled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at a Lagos court on Friday.

The unfolding saga began when DAILY POST first reported that the self-proclaimed transgender personality was apprehended by authorities in Lagos on Wednesday night. The arrest stemmed from allegations of mishandling naira notes, with Bobrisky accused of unlawfully spraying and damaging currency at an event.

As the legal proceedings unfolded, Bobrisky found himself arraigned on a total of six charges, only to see two of them dropped following negotiations between the involved parties.

Despite the reduction in charges, the gravity of the remaining accusations weighed heavily as Bobrisky stood before the court, facing allegations of abusing the national currency and engaging in illicit money laundering activities.
