Dino Melaye Mocks Suspended EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu (Video)

Senator Dino Melaye has reacted to the suspension of Ibrahim Magu, the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Recall that on Tuesday, Magu was suspended by the presidency to allow him face the probe into the allegations of corruption leveled against him by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.

According to a source who spoke to The Cable, security operatives had arrived Magu’s residence in Karu area of Abuja to ransack his home for incriminating evidence that would corroborate the allegations levelled against him but so far, nothing was found.

Abubakar Malami, Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) had recommended Magu’s sack to President Buhari over “weighty” allegations which include relooting recovered loot .

Meanwhile, a source at EFCC alleged  the embattled anti-graft agency boss went to the Panel with documents that can exonerate him from the charges but the Panel was yet to question him about the allegations.

The Cable quoted the source saying, “He went to the panel with many documents. He has a lot of files on him to respond to the allegations. Surprisingly, the panel has not asked him any question on the issues raised against him,”

Dino Melaye reacting to the current situation made a video of himself mocking the EFCC boss.

Melaye also said that he has warned president Buhari of so many Magu’s in his present government but he would not listen to him.
