A Delta court of Appeal declared that the former Cross River state Governor is indeed the presidential candidate, setting aside the initial judgement by an Abuja high court.

According to theCable, a three-man panel set aside the judgement of the high court stating that the application brought forward by Gana was illegal and unconstitutional and that the amendment relied upon by Gana did not take effect until October 8, 2018, two days after its ratification and the election of Duke as the party’s candidate was in line with section 222 of the electoral act.
