The Secretary to the Edo State Government (SSG), Barr. Osarodion Ogie has been nominated as the running mate of Dr. Asue Ighodalo for the forthcoming state governorship election.
The Herald learnt that Ogie’s nomination was occasioned by his popularity and wide acceptance amongst the people in Edo South, a senatorial district that is adjudged as the most populous amongst the three senatorial districts in Edo
The SSG is a politician, administrator, and lawyer like Dr. Ighodalo; a brilliant policy developer and renowned strategist, whose sterling contributions have heralded significant peace, stability, and progress in our body polity according to his supporters.
Ogie, during Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s administration, was a Chief Of staff and later appointed Commissioner for Ministry of Works (now Roads and Bridges) in Edo.
