Edo Guber: APC Bows To Pressure, Removes Uzodinma As Edo Primary Election Chairman, See New List

Governor Hope Uzodinma has been removed as the chairmanof the Edo state Governorship Primary election committee, The Herald reports.

This development is coming in the aftermath of a crisis currently rocking the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state after several individuals emerged as Candidates in the just-concluded primaries superintended over by Uzodinma.

In an amended list released by the party’s National Organizing Secretary, H.E Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR, the committee will now be chaired by the Governor of Cross Rivers state Bassey Otu, while Alh. Rabiu Suleiman will serve as Secretary.

The Party also announced the appointment of Barr. C. C. Udenwa as the chairman Appeals committee.
