The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has in its strengthened and renewed fight against corruption arrested a former Minister of Finance, Amb. Bashir Yuguda, in connector with the N23 billion bribe distributed by the former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
The anti-graft agency however took the corruption war a step further as the detained ex-finance Minister was captured in a rather embarrassing mugshot.
In a statement by the EFCC, the ex-minister who also is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, allegedly diverted the sum of N450 million out of the Scandal.
