Fayose, A disgrace to Ekiti people – Group

The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has earned himself insults from the members of the Ekiti Kete South-South/South- East Movement.

The Group on Wednesday referred to the State Governor as a major barrier to the development of the state with his ‘reckless utterances’ and ‘odd attitudes.’

In a press statement issued on behalf of the group by its Public Secretary, Kehinde Olatunji, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the group noted that the Governor’s careless utterances and odd attitudes has brought nothing but disgrace to the Ekiti State people both home and abroad.

”The group condemned in strongest terms that the state lacks basic infrastructure and other development projects, yet the governor was busy saying irrelevant things.” the statement said.

Away from the State Governor, the group applauded the President’s decision in a phoning Senator Babafemi Ojudu as his Special Adviser on Political Matters adding that the choice was “the right pick, and a man of impeccable character”.
