Inter Milan have agreed to pay a £1.28m transfer fee for Manchester United’s veteran fullback Ashley Young.
The 34-year-old was said to have made his intention to join Inter known to the management and as such excluded himself from United’s last three games.
Should the deal go through, Ashley Young will be reunited with ex-teammates Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez who is serving a loan term with the Italian club.
Medicals are expected to take place in Milan on Friday once personal terms have been agreed.
Young has 261 caps for the red devils and is club captain this season although he had only managed 10 appearances.
Inter are shooting for their first league title in 10 years under former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte and they are sparing no expense in the actualization of that dream as the club is linked with top players from every corner of the world.
