Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, a renowned actress and comedian popularly known as Kiekie, recently opened up about why she chooses to keep her husband out of her social media presence.

In an interview with Chude, she candidly explained that her social media accounts are primarily dedicated to her professional endeavors, and therefore, there is no necessity to showcase her husband on those platforms.

I don’t share my husband on Instagram not because I’m hiding him but because my Instagram is a business Instagram. My husband is not part of my business. He doesn’t collect a salary. What ‘consine’ him? Kiekie expressed.

However, she went on to disclose her reasons for featuring her husband following the joyous news of their pregnancy. Kiekie emphasized that her pregnancy was a collaborative effort, and she wanted to share the excitement with her followers. Their relationship was thriving, and there was no reason to keep their happiness private. Thus, when they welcomed their baby and celebrated Thanksgiving, it was a special moment for their entire family.

But before you see him again, it will be a while. Only maybe if we born another child again sha…cause my birthday is MY birthday. I don’t see the need to post him on his birthday because he’s not even on Instagram.” Kiekie explained.

She further elaborated that the person she wants to wish a happy birthday to wasn’t present during the celebrations. Consequently, there was no obligation to extend birthday wishes on behalf of others. After all, her husband is by her side, sharing their bed, and she can personally express her love and affection. “Sweerie happy birthday to you’. Why do I have to go and tell millions of human beings that he’s doing a birthday??” she pondered.
