BBNaija housemate, LAYCON has emerged winner of Big Brother Naija Season 5.

After 71 days (10 weeks), 20 housemates, dozens of tasks, several altercations, and parties, the last man standing is the Fierce Rapper, LAYCON of Lagos.

 

The graduate from University of Lagos came into the house as an underdog – a nobody. Even viewers took several swipes at him for his choice of costume on the day he made entrance into the house.

 

“I am a sex enthusiast” was what the rhymer retorted when show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked him about his sex affiliation. It didn’t take long for the best graduating student of philosophy to display his philosophical and mature look on life.

 

This however went on to attract disqualified housemate, Erica to him “mentally” who was also physically attracted to billionaire son, Kiddwaya. According to her: “I am mentally attracted to Laycon but physically attracted to Kiddwaya.

 

Now that the show has come to an end, it is unclear if that mental connection between the two still exists.

 

It’s a new day, a new life, and vision for Laycon who has emerged winner and will be walking away with the staggering grand prize of N85 Million. He sure has made mama proud.
