Nigerians have been reacting to the news of President Buhari’s cancelled trip to the Niger Delta with many of them claiming that President Buhari is afraid to face the militants.
President Buhari was scheduled for a one-day trip to Ogoniland to kick off the Niger Delta clean up initiative.
No reason was given for the cancellation but speculation is rife that it concerns the death threat that the President received from the militant group Niger Delta Avengers.
