‘No Come Dubai, Work No Dey’ – Nigerian Man Warns (VIDEO)

1 Min Read

A Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based Nigerian man says there are no jobs in the city as being peddled by travelling agents.

He, therefore, advised his compatriots against falling for cheap lies being peddled by the agents that collect hundreds of thousands of naira in exchange for placing immigrants in non-existent jobs in the city.

The unidentified man gave the advice in a video shared by a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri on YouTube on Monday.

He advised Nigerian men and women making ends meet in the country to keep at it and not allow themselves to get fleeced through Dubai visa.

In the 3:15-minute video, the man who recorded the footage can be heard saying he is among more than 5,000 men applying for the job of a security guard at a company in the city.

He then pans the camera to reveal a horde of men clutching what appears to be their credentials while waiting for their turn to be attended to.
