The sad news was officially confirmed by his colleague, Saidi Balogun, who took to Instagram to announce Lewis’s passing. In a heartfelt post, Balogun wrote, “Good night DEJUMO LEWIS, may your soul rest in perfect peace.

Dejumo Lewis was widely recognized for his contributions to Yoruba cinema and was celebrated for his roles in various movies, including “A Place in the Stars,” ‘Crossroads,’ and ‘Power of 1.’ However, his portrayal of the Kabiyesi character in the iconic ‘The Village Headmaster’ series remains one of his most memorable performances.

While the cause of his death is yet to be officially confirmed, the news of Dejumo Lewis’s passing has triggered an outpouring of grief from fellow actors and fans alike.
