The Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri on Tuesday evening paid a courtesy visit to former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Dame Patience Jonathan, for the New Year.
Diri shared photos of the visit on his verified Facebook page.
The governor captioned the photos, “This evening, I led a state delegation on a New Year visit to our revered leader and former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR, at his residence in Yenagoa.
“I seized the occasion of the visit to appreciate our leader and the wife, Dame (Mrs.) Patience Jonathan, for the massive support received towards my recent re-election.
“I assured him of the commitment of the Prosperity Government to sustain the level of peace, security and development in the state.”
