President Jonathan Prays For The Success Of Buhari

President Goodluck Jonathan has prayed for the success of his successor, President-elect, Muhammadu Buahri when he assumes power.

This was contained instatement posted on the Facebook page of the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben.

Abati, who released “a short video” from the site of the ongoing Second Niger Bridge project, said projects embarked upon by President Jonathan’s administration had not been deserted as reported by a section of the media.

According to him, the Presidency hopes that the transformation agenda of the incumbent administration continues.

The presidential spokesman also thanked all Nigerians for giving Jonathan the opportunity to serve them.

“From Lagos-Ibadan Road to Abuja-Kaduna Railways and Kashimbilla Dam, both which are set for commissioning. We are still working for you. President Jonathan prays for the incoming administration led by General Buhari to achieve even as we hope that this transformation continues. We thank you for letting us serve you!”, he said.

Abati quoted the president as assuring the nation that “service and necessary sacrifices will be his (Jonathan’s) lifelong commitment to Nigeria in whatever capacity”.
